I am currently living in Pullman, WA where I attend veterinary school at WSU.
'
I graduated from Washington State University in May of 2006 with a B.S. in Animal Science. I also have my Associates in Arts and Sciences from Bellevus Community College which I recieved in June 2003, the same year I graduated high school. I was able to do this as part of the running start program.
I started observing at a surgery specialty clinic with Dr. Tom Fry in 1999. I enjoyed the experience very much and was soon offered a job. I have worked there ever since. I currently work there during my summers inbetween college. This last summer I was able to assist/close on my brothers dog and my own dogs spays!
My favorite animals are dogs! I have two beautiful border collies that I enjoy training and competing with. I have a website for my border collies at

I have enjoyed raising rabbits for many years now. I started off in 4H with a lynx Mini Rex named Cadbury. I have had several other breeds as well including Holland Lops, American Fuzzy Lops, a French Lop, an English Spot, a Lilac, and Tans. I chose Mini Lops to be my main breed around 2002 and have been working on improving my line ever since. In 2006 my friend Sarah Cleavenger and I decided to raise Silver Martens . Rabbits are a huge part of my life that I enjoy very much! I have made many good friends through raising rabbits.
In 2005, I went to my first Mini Lop National show in Columbus, Ohio. I brought three rabbits with me and was very pleased when two of them placed in the top ten of their classes. In 2006, I went to Maryland for Mini Lop Nationals and again received some great placements including a second and fifth. I was lucky enough to atten my first ARBA Nationals in 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas. I had a blast spending time with my rabbit friends from around the country. I was very pleased to take a fifth and sixth place with my Mini Lops. I was also able to purchase a few SIlver Martens to help Sarah and I start out line. It will probably be 2012 before I can attend another National.
